Over the past month, I’ve had the privilege of facilitating workshops for a multinational client, focusing on training facilitators. The workshops included a comprehensive assessment over three days, during which participants were tasked with designing and facilitating workshops on various leadership topics. Interestingly, out of the four topics provided, “giving feedback” emerged as the overwhelming choice for the majority of participants. This phenomenon sparked a deep reflection on the importance of feedback in the workplace and its impact on individual and team growth. On the other hand, developmental feedback aims to identify areas for improvement, offer constructive criticism, and provide guidance on how to enhance skills and performance.
